Gingerbread Cookies. In a large bowl (KitchenAid's great for this) beat butter, brown sugar, and egg on medium speed until well blended. In a saucepan set over low heat, or in the microwave, melt butter, then stir in the brown sugar, molasses, salt, and spices.
With an electric mixer, beat butter and brown sugar until smooth. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger, stirring to combine. Whisk the baking powder and soda into the flour, and then stir these dry ingredients into the molasses mixture.
Scrape down the sides and bottom of the bowl as needed.
With mixer on low, add dry ingredients; mix just until a dough forms.
Becel Anything Goes Cookie Dough Festive Gingerbread Cookie Bars. Combine the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger, stirring to combine.
